The Barcelona Design Week is a major annual international design event that showcases various creative disciplines. For its 2022 edition, we were invited to create an interactive experience, shining a light on the key themes behind the event.
We developed a journey made up of five physical cubes that enabled users to interact and reflect on the role of design and human nature in shaping a better future.

The Exhibition
Showcasing the work of local designers and artists, the Wayfindings experience was located on
the world-renowned Passeig De Gràcia. Using augmented reality (AR), the interactive exhibition featured audiovisual pieces by David Torrents, Marina Salazar, Wete Studio, Maria Corte,
and The Others.
Augmented Reality & Interaction
The interactive aspect was a key component of the exhibition, as the main concepts behind
the 2022 Barcelona Design Week touched upon human-centered design and technology
as tools for positive societal impact.
Through the AR experience, users could explore how design can address current challenges, navigate complex systems, and ultimately, shape a more equitable and sustainable future.
By engaging with the Wayfindings: L’Experiència, visitors actively participated in the design conversation, leaving with a deeper understanding of the role design plays in shaping our world.
