BARCELONA DESIGN WEEK 2022
The Barcelona Design Week is a vibrant design event that sparks dialogue
and connections across the city every year for a whole week. For its 2022 edition,
we were in charge of the event’s branding, creating a unique graphic design & visual identity approach inspired by the concept of “Wayfindings”. This concept embodied
the transformative power of design in shaping a brighter future for all.
WAYFINDINGS
Four evocative dreamscapes emerged from the concept of “Wayfindings”, each featuring objects that guide and inspire. A multiplying pointer challenges traditional directions, a soaring weathervane breaks free from convention, a multi-directional lighthouse expands possibilities, and warped compasses prompt us to question established paths. These captivating visuals formed the visual identity of the Barcelona Design Week 2022 and were used for all its derived applications.
