THE COSMIC OCTOPUS
Every year I redraw the cosmic octopus. It helps me track how much progress I have made through the years. The cosmic octopus was just a wacky idea I had after reading the book Latitudes of Longing by Shubhangi Swarup. Here's the actual quote:
"The cosmos, in its depth, was an ocean of various realms. At the very top, was the Sagar Natraj, or the realm of the octopus. A giant octopus, made of subtle energies, balanced the various islands, seas and celestial bodies on each tentacle in its ethereal dance" - Shubhangi Swarup, Latitudes of Longing
This is a brilliant book and I would definitely recommend a read!

This year's redraw saw me creating a cuter version of the cosmic octopus - maybe I can make it into a sticker XD, but I hope you like it. I'll be back next year with another version of this piece
