[EN] Cazouls-lès-Béziers is a small town located in southern France, in the heart of the Occitanie region. Its 5,000 inhabitants benefit from the town's ideal location, between the Caroux mountains to the north and the Mediterranean Sea to the south, between the city and the countryside. It is, so to speak, the gateway that joins these two worlds, these two environments. The town's territory is marked by its numerous vineyards, its small hills, pine forests, its old bauxite mines and their characteristic red earth. The Orb river borders the town's territory to the east.
Cazouls-lès-Béziers is a family-oriented and human-size town, that provides its inhabitants with a calm and relaxing atmosphere while offering services and equipments that are worthy of a much larger town, be it in terms of its infrastructure, its cultural and leisure offer. A small town with all the services and advantages of a bigger city.
[FR] Cazouls-lès-Béziers est une commune du sud de la France située au cœur de la région Occitanie. Ses plus de 5 000 habitants profitent de sa localisation idéale, entre les montagnes du Caroux au nord, et la mer Méditerranée au sud, entre la ville et la campagne. C'est pour ainsi dire la porte d'entrée qui joint ces deux univers, ces deux environnements. Le territoire de la commune est marqué par ses nombreuses vignes, ses petits puechs ponctués par des forêts de pins, ses anciennes mines de bauxite et leurs rougiers caractéristiques, ainsi que par l'Orb qui limite son territoire à l'est.
Cazouls-lès-Béziers, est une commune familiale, à taille humaine, où il fait bon vivre. Ce qui est gage de calme et d'un cadre de vie agréable n'est pour autant pas synonyme d'isolement et de manque d'équipements et de services, bien au contraire ! Cazouls, c'est une petite ville dynamique qui offre des services dignes d'une commune bien plus grande, qu'ils soient de l'ordre de son infrastructure, de son offre culturelle ou encore des activités qui y sont proposées. C'est un cocon familial avec tous les services d'une grande ville.
Concept
[EN] Because the old logo didn't reflect the city's attractiveness and its ambition, the city council decided that it was time to have a new visual identity that would be in accord with the city's particularities its development and ambition.
In order to echo the environment and the particularities of the city, the identity is based on two main elements that make Cazouls unique: its ideal location between sea and mountains, between city and countryside, and its name, made of three parts. The triptych that is introduced in the name, in addition to being historically justified (junction of three dioceses on the town's territory in a place called "The Three Tables"), highlights the three main elements that make Cazouls unique: its history and heritage, its services and welcoming atmosphere, and the specificities of its environment and surroundings.

[FR] L'ancien logotype ne permettant pas de rendre perceptible l'attractivité et les objectifs de la commune, la mairie a décidé de doter la ville d'une nouvelle identité visuelle qui soit en symbiose avec son développement, à la hauteur de ses ambitions.
Afin de s'ancrer dans l'environnement et les particularités de la ville, l'identité visuelle se concentre sur deux des singularités de Cazouls : sa localisation idéale entre mer et montagne, entre ville et campagne, et son nom, composé en trois parties. Ce triptyque, en plus d'être historiquement justifié (jonction de trois diocèses sur le territoire de la commune en un lieu appelé "Les Trois Tables"), permet de faire écho aux trois éléments qui donnent à Cazouls son charme : son histoire et son patrimoine, ses services et sa taille familiale, et les spécificités de son environnement.
Icons & Patterns
[EN] Using the simple geometric shapes found in the logomark are used as decorative elements in the patterns, as well as pictographic elements that represent, for example, the various elements of the town's heritage.
[FR] À l'aide du répertoire de formes géométriques simples que l'on retrouve dans le logotype, divers motifs et pictogrammes peuvent être réalisés. Ils peuvent servir d'habillage graphique comme d'éléments pictographiques qui représentent, par exemple, les divers éléments de patrimoine.
