CRYSTAL NEST
Family house in Zagreb, project 2004

Arranged around the central "nest" of the living room, the house on the one side plunges down the slope of the terrain containing the collective rooms such as the indoor swimming pool and bar, while at the other side rises towards the more intimate spaces of the apartments and master bedroom. Internally "cave-like", externally "crystalline", the structure gives all the rooms a sense of immersion into the natural ambient of the spacious garden/park while providing far, deep and at times remarkably beautiful views.
