Vodnjan Synecdoche is cinematic, dreamy, moody, otherworldly, atmospheric experience – inducer in-between natural environment and the city urbanity. Attraction for itself, at the same time open pavilion for temporary interventions and installations, along with the existing building on site, introduces local heritage and products. Like a white shadow it transcendents house‘s inner self, projecting it‘s misty subconsciousness to the outside. Synecdoche (allegory, allusion, metonymy, non-literal expression, metaphor, oxymoron, parable, paradox) is presenting a part that refers to the entirely or vice versa, a material is used to refer to an object composed of that material, a container is used to refer to it‘s contents.
