A sort of feed reader, with integrated social networking. Your Facebook and Twitter (eventually more!) activity streams appear alongside your RSS news feeds. 

 

Eventually very multi-channel (designs are around for mobile phones, tablets and so on), but starting as a browser plugin so it's always present, hanging off the side of your browser frame.  

I ended up doing architecture, interaction design, interface and visual design, branding, and creating all the icons as well.
