La via della gentilezza
La cosa che più mi ha fatto ragionare quando ho realizzato questo progetto di brand image è stato il movimento, il fuoco di questa attività. Il Judo come molte arti marziali non è un semplice sport, è una filosofia, è la via, così definita: "La via dell'arrendevolezza". Quindi ho lavorato principalmente sull'equilibrio delle forme, dei pesi bianco-nero e su un segno che richiamasse il senso del movimento.
The thing that made me think when I made this project the brand image was the movement, the focus of this activity. Judo as many martial arts is not just a sport, it is a philosophy, is the way, defined as: "The way of surrender". So I worked mainly on the balance of shapes, weights and black and white on a sign that would evoke a sense of movement.
Creazione
Ensō (円相) è una parola giapponese che significa cerchio. L'ensō simboleggia l'illuminazione, la forza, l'universo. Questo segno mi ha ispirato il senso di movimento, un movimento consapevole e autentico.
Ensō (円 相) is a Japanese word meaning circle. The Enso symbolizes enlightenment, strength, universe. This sign has inspired me a sense of movement, a movement of conscious and authentic.
Font
Per il lettering del marchio ho scelto il Cyan, una font che ha la struttura da carattere romano per la ampiezza delle sue forme, la sua rotondita ed il suo carattere epigrafico. Da come si vede presena dei tratti ricurvi alle estremità che lo rendono più affascinante e meno rigido di un Trajan pur conservando un forma audace.
For the lettering of the brand I chose the Cyan, a font which has the structure from Roman character for the breadth of its forms, its roundness and its epigraphic character. As seen here presenting the curved portions at the ends that make it more attractive and less rigid than a Trajan while retaining a sleek shape.
Logo
Dalla forma ciroclare (Enso) che ho riportato sopra è nato il marchio per la scuola di Judo, e questo tipo di segno costituisce la rappresentazione di due figure, che come se danzassero, si muovono e girano l'uno nell'altro quasi tenendosi stretti. Al di sotto è posizionata la denominiazione della palestra con un claim che l'accompagna: "JI TA KYO EI" che significa: "Tutti insieme, uniti, per crescere e progredire"
From the shape Enso which I quoted above was born the mark for the Judo school, and this type of sign is the representation of two figures, as if they were dancing, moving and run into one another almost clinging . Below is positioned naming that gym with a slogan that accompanies it: "JI TA KYO EI" which means "All together, united, to grow and progress"
