This project was all based around design for accessibility based off of qualitative interview based research. I chose the dual topics of care for the elderly and gardening, while adding the restraint on myself to create something for a small area. The result was the ferris-planter.

The main pain elders have gardening is getting up and sitting back down, so I eliminated it by making a standing planter. You use the step at the front to turn the item, and since the product is solar powered it can be easily set up on a porch or balcony. 
Later iteration will be made in order to improve the aesthetics.
