Starting with simple shapes like rectangles, triangles and ovals I like to surprise myself with the result of transforming multiple copies.

The transforms are screen recorded, but each frame can be a scalable vector file that could be saved to display and print at any size.

This is an ellipse filled with a linear mirrored gradient set to Difference blend mode.

7 copies are rotated on top of each other from 0° to 180°

Above: 2 frames: 30° and 60°.

Below: 4 frames: 90° with 1, 8, 9 and 10 copies.
