Starting with simple shapes like rectangles, triangles and ovals I like to surprise myself with the result of transforming multiple copies.

The transforms are screen recorded, but each frame can be a scalable vector file that could be saved to display and print at any size.

This is an ellipse filled with a linear gradient set to Lighten blend mode.

The first transform creates 7 rotated copies.

Another transform scales and rotates 13 additional copies.

The screen recording was made when the ellipse was rotated 360°

4 frames: 90°, 160°, 180° and 320°.
