SIR is the high-end real estate subsidiary of renowned international auction house, Sotheby's.
The purpose of the publication was to reinforce their 'epicurean lifestyle' identity and commercially, as a vehicle to help promote their (luxury) Home Listings.
We produced two issues of the magazine. A design template was already in place, but by introducing subtle additions to the typography and styling I helped move the publication forward. Commissioning beautiful photography was key.
Personal highlights of this project included standing-in for Kenny Rogers on a shoot in his house and a news feature (that eventually got dropped) about luxury coffee extracted from civet dung (Oh, how the other half live!).
Our second issue won a Platinum Hermes Creative Award for design and editorial excellence.
