Chinese New Year is the time we always look forward to family gatherings, and it is also the time we see each other and reconnect again. It is often during this festival that we will be able to make up for lost time, and catch up to update each other.
Ang paos in Chinese customs or traditions signifies blessings from the seniors to the younger ones – and this time, our latest ang pao concept centers around the most important meal of the festival: the reunion dinner. The reunion dinner is where seniors of the family prepare food for the family to sit together and eat on Chinese New Year eve – and this is reflected in the ang pao’s design.
The ang pao design comes in geometrical shapes or form to create the background scene on the ang pao. The ang pao packets comes in two sizes: landscape and portrait sizes; and painted in two vivid colours as well: pink and traditional red. Gold stamping was applied to highlight the contemporary style of the ang pao design.
We hope that everyone receives blessings of the Tiger year – so may the brand new year signifies a brand new start and many good tidings to come!
