Last year, as the 2020.21 NHL Playoffs approached, I created social media pieces titled "Road To The Cup" in the style of license plates, that I posted when teams clinched playoff berths. I created one for all 31 teams. Below you'll see the 16 playoff teams.
I also built them into a graphic with an accompanying street sign for each division. After a team clinched I posted this 4 image grid on Twitter to update where we stood with the 16 spots.
As for the teams that didn't make it, I turned these into an "Exit" graphic, showing that these teams were all lottery bound.
And just for fun, I also created plates for 3 defunct franchises. (Mostly because I wanted a chance to see these team colours again.)
