An attempt was made to understand and respond to the different behaviours of the textile medium, especially in terms of its drape and translucency. Then an organic approach was used to create the texture. Each response has led to painterly outcomes, expressing the organic and generative aspects of flora in nature.
The whole process of making the surfaces, and the resulting collections, gives a visual and dogmatic zen experience to both the user and the maker.
