The National Aviation Museum of Korea opened on July 5, 2020, in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the Willows Korean Aviation School established by the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea.

To commemorate the event, the museum’s opening celebration catalog was produced.
The design of this catalog was inspired by the form and texture of an airplane engine turbine, the construction design motif of the museum, as well as the gradation of the museum’s identity color.

The catalog was produced in two forms: regular and VIP versions. The cover of the VIP version is made of an steel plate, the main material used to build airplanes, whereas its regular counterpart features silver leafing that ensures uniformity with the VIP version in design and texture. In addition, the spine of the catalog, which was produced using sewn binding, is exposed and presents the gradation of the museum’s identity color. The same gradation also appears throughout the inner pages denoting the progression of chapters as well as expressing the museum’s visual identity and the flow of aviation history.
