El Piquin Mexican Restaurant Posters for Dine Out Extravaganza Mockup

                El Piquin is an Authentic Mexican family-owned restaurant located in the heart of Essex, Baltimore County Maryland. It is a suburban neighborhood and locally popular to its residents. Their menu consists of authentic Mexican food that is always fresh and prepared the same way each time. Although this restaurant is a popular spot in the community, El Piquin does not get the credit for what they represent or the credit for how popular they really are.

            El Piquin has been established for some time. They owner wants to update their look. Based on some visuals I have received, and they have online, their look needs to be updated. El Piquin is planning on having an outside dining extravaganza during the summer. Based on their images and the aged look of their posters, and the owner understands that an updated look is necessary.

            My objective is to put El Piquin on the map. El Piquin is known in the community, but I want to offer new ideas and a refreshing plan to make this restaurant known not only to their local community but to attract others from outside the community. I plan to recreate their logo to be simple yet new and updated. I also plan to add new attractive brand advertisements and ultimately reinvent El Piquin within and outside of the community.

            I chose to change the font of El Piquins menu and ads. New colors, new type and new photos will attract the public. The new colors won’t change from the original colors however I plan to use them in a way that will brighten the logo but still give that authentic detail. I also plan to add some factual visual food images to show how authentic and good their food is.
