            National Geographic is a magazine that features geography, science, cultures of the world and history. NatGeo, for short, is expanding and creating a limited-edition magazine called Circle. Circle is going to feature their up-and-coming limited-edition article called, The Animal Kingdom Loop. The launch of their feature will be presented Friday May 24th.
            The issue they are having is that their audience is not aware of the extended edition. Advertisements are needed not only on social media but traditionally. I understand that NatGeo is read by those who have web access and those who don’t.
In resolution I have created visuals for the client to advertise the new limited-edition magazine to those not only on social media. I propose these visuals to advertised in museums, and other businesses.
            To reach all customers I created this postcard with a color palette to flow with National Geographic color palette. I decided to use hues of yellow-gold and browns to match the main image in the postcard and flow with the clients’ colors. I wanted the weekly featured article to be the main subject of the design. Circle is the new magazine created by National Geographic and it was necessary to make sure it was recognized in the design as well. NatGeos name was necessary to be mentioned in the design, but they wanted it not to be the focus. The goal is to help the audience understand yes, it is coming from the client however, there is a new extension of their brand.
