CUSTOMER PORTRAIT
Too often old bikes are simply thrown away. It's a shame because they are often of good quality. With a little patience and the right hand, they can be turned into beautiful, roadworthy pieces of jewelry in the "Draisinerie" workshop.

TASK
First of all, a suitable name for the bike workshop should be found and then a graphic appearance should be designed. The retro charm should be recognizable as the bikes are a few decades old.

NAMING
After a short time, the decision was made to use "Draisinerie" as the company name. A draisine is "a human-powered two-wheeled vehicle without pedals" that was invented by Karl Drais. The draisine is considered to be the archetype of today's bicycle. This historical context, as well as the sound and spelling of the "Draisinerie" go well with the concept of the store and the owner. For a more precise explanation, there is the addition "bike workshop for oldtimers". It is really clear to everyone what the business model of this wheel workshop is.
CORPORATE DESIGN
The colors used are tones that have a vintage character, such as beige and anthracite. Rusty red and brown refer to the patina that some of the old wheels have. All colors appear muted, they no longer shine like new and polished.Courier New, with its strongly pronounced serifs, is used as the main font. It was originally developed for the typewriter and therefore goes very well with the retro character. The Courier New is complemented by Silom Regular.Instead of evenly colored areas, these are given an irregular texture. This also underlines the character of items that have already been used, as well as the ambience of a workshop. The bicycles are not artificially staged, illuminated or even photographed in the studio for photo shoots, but rather naturally and ideally photographed outside in a realistic environment.
PRINT MEDIA
Up to now, classic business equipment – consisting of business cards and business paper – has been produced. In addition, blocks were printed that are used in order acceptance.
