This is a section from a six-part editorial video series in response to the museum exhibition "Walk This Way" featuring the historic footwear collection of Stuart Weitzman. The videos focus on important figures in Cincinnati's fashion community as they reveal stories about their connection to the industry.
INSPIRATION
In my mind, the videos needed to feel like you were reading an editorial interview out of Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, etc. I studied a number of magazines over the course of this project in order to mimic the layout, type treatment, framing systems from the pages and adapted them for motion. The overall interview is shot in black and white to maintain a timeless feeling while pops of color are shown to highlight standout pieces of the wardrobe.
