In collaboration with the City of Millville, the Cumberland County Improvement Authority and the Millville Public Library, a renovation and expansion was designed for the Library. The existing 9,500 sf library that serves the residents of Millville will get an
almost full renovation of its interior to accommodate the 10,500 sf addition. The program for the library was increased dramatically and carefully designed in collaboration with the library’s director and staff. 

An important challenge that came with this project was an increased health and safety requirement due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The space planning and furniture and shelving layout was carefully designed to use the available space as efficiently as possible
while making sure library patrons could safely keep their distance from each other to ensure a healthy environment for one of the most important gathering spaces for the community.
