Magical seas off Greenland

I’m excited to share with you this recent painting ”Magical seas off Greenland” I painted this last weekend, and it is the fifteenth in a new series exploring the spirit of adventure in all of us. Distant shores, great voyages, friendships rekindled and quiet moments of joy on reflection of the wonders of our world.

Days went by and time for Mia slowed down, she delighted in the joy of living in the moment.

Her moods followed the sea and the sky, at times somber and grey, or bright and hopefully, or simply spectacular and enthralling.

She watched the late sun paint the clouds with its warm bathing light, she revelled in the cool dusk hues and the luminous violet shades of the sea, as its waves darkened and slowed for the night ahead.

Sitting there on the deck she let the majesty of this magic hour wash over her and fill her senses with the life’s precious essence.

Nights welcoming vale fell suddenly and the sea sighed restfully, the glow of her cabin light invited her in and her evening meal beconed.
