Mia smiled at Rayna as they were introduced to Dani’s old colleague of 30 years Tali Lastrom. Both glad to see their friend in good spirits again, were tired after a long voyage through rough weather on one of the multifunctional vessels procured by Captain Vaas, one of Dani’s old friends and a cargo hauler by trade.
Tali had the more tradional metallic outer shell of an earlier generation android, gold and metallic blue chrome, bright glowing eyes and a slight slim refined feminine shape created by her designers.
She spoke with what earth people would describe as an English accent from a well to do background and Mia liked her immediately as she began discussing what would be next, on hearing Dani’s story and concerns.
After much discussion they agreed that on arrival they locate and talk to Uncle Heraz, who would know if anyone did of what had become of Alyna.
While they were in the area Dani, requested taking out the pods and she and Mia exploring the subterranean areas of cliff as they would be able to cover more ground quicker and manoeuvre around the many obstacles in order to find the elusive caves they were seeking.
An hour later they passed through the heavily obscured cliffs and after a couple of hours of searching beneath the surface spotted the red beacon revealing a dark cave entrance, returned and gave the coordinates to help guide the small vessel reach the cave, which was fortunately big enough to enter. Once inside the metal panel slid closed and the huge inner cavern was revealed.
