|Together| is a personal concept where I tried to ask myself how a family residence should look like.
It's a project with the purpose to unite and bring a family together.

The residence starts with the same idea that goes through my Introvert series, the idea of providing enough visual security and creating an environment that would help to focus on the inner atmosphere. This thought shaped and formed the project. This house is a composition of volumes different in sizes with just a few facade windows. Most of the sunlight enters the space through skylights in the ceiling, helping to lit the house more intimately.

The layout uses the volumes of the building as separate functional zones. For instance, the first volume is an entrance to the house and it contains the main storage spaces, a wardrobe, and a guest bathroom. The centerpiece of this space is a basin made from travertine which greets guests and encourages them to wash their hands before proceeding to the rest of the house, creating a special ritual from that day-to-day activity.

There are several main functional zones: an entrance, a kitchen area with a dining space, a living area, three bedrooms with ensuites, and a spa area with a pool. These areas are presented by larger exterior volumes and connected by lower ones.
The interior design is based on a dialog between different objects and their proportions. Therefore the material pallet is deliberately austere. All the walls and ceiling are covered with clay plaster, wide oak boards on the floor, travertine, and marble accents in the kitchen and bathrooms.

|Together| was designed to provoke dialogue between visitants and helping them to concentrate on the inner atmosphere.

This project is also available as NFT on the Foundation.app platform. 3d files, as well as support for uploading this house to the Metaverse, will be provided upon request of the new owner.
