联合国艾滋病规划署成立于1996年，计划以30年为目标终结艾滋病。25年以来，一直在为感染者应有的权益和未来福祉努力工作。然而偏见、歧视以及普遍存在的不平等，仍然是全人类终结艾滋病的主要障碍。
很荣幸，我们应邀为联合国艾滋病规划署成立25周年，设计了logo和海报。以设计师身份，为规划署发声。主题来自中国古代《诗经》和《荀子》——道阻且長，行则将至。喻示着长时间坚持努力直至终点的勇气和决心。我们只用一张海报，横向和竖向两种不同的张贴形式，分别适应了英文和中文的两种传播场景，却表达着同一种语义。鲜明的红丝带元素，是英文“ROAD AHEAD IS (LONG) AND HARD”和中文“道阻且(長)”的巧妙连接。这是一个非常有趣的图形实验。意在打破语言隔阂，连接在抗击艾滋病长路中的各种力量，引发社会与艾滋病群体的良好对话。
Success in the Long Run
The UNAIDS Program was established in 1996 and plans to end AIDS in 30 years. For 25 years, we have been fighting for the rights and well-being of AIDS patients. However, prejudice, discrimination and inequality has always made it difficult to end AIDS for good.
We are deeply honored for the invitation to design the logo and poster for UNAIDS 25th anniversary. The theme came from ancient China’s "Book of Songs" and "Xunzi" - The road before us is long and hard, persist, and success shall be in the cards. It indicates courage and determination, to work immensely towards our goals. We used just one poster, presented both horizontally and vertically, which are adapted to the two display methods in English and Chinese language, whilst expressing the same semantics. The distinct red ribbon is an ingenious connection between the English quote, "ROAD AHEAD IS (LONG) AND HARD" and the Chinese quote, "道阻且 (長)". With the intention to break language barriers, we integrated the long and countless hard work of the AIDS battle, hoping to spark genuine communication in society towards the AIDS community.
