Moby Lines digital collateral promotion (2007-09)


 
Moby Lines is the italian established leader in the field of maritime transport to and from the islands of the Upper Tirrenian Sea (Sardinia, Corsica, Elba), it became popular for their ships decorated with Looney Tunes themes. In 2005 Moby hired Domitilla Biondi to completely redesign the web site ( see the case history).

In 2007 the web begins to become social driven, so Moby launches its social community project: YOUMOBY.
We worked at the UX/UI and asked digital animation expert agency Melazeta to create an animated flash cartoon version virtual tour of the boat, in which users could find videos and pictures sent by people in that precise room.
A CONTEST was conceived, and to promote it we developed the banner campaign, t-shirts and merchandise virtual shop as well.
 
YOUMOBY project was abandoned in 2009 for budget reasons.

So far I took care of web site banner campaigns, first following-up the print adv campaign (by JWT) and then becoming independent in creativity, with the only limit of not using Warner characters.
2009  |  Moby.it web marketing campaigns
 
In 2009 Moby established its own web marketing department and I started working on digital adv campaigns as well to support their plans: banners, skins, dem/newsletter and everything coordinated.
 
We designed animated flash banner which update in real time offers prices.
