Inspired by the tagline I created of ‘take us with you’, the graphic element reflects the personal journey of each patron to education or escapism and reflects that the library exists beyond the confines of its walls.
Inspired by the blurred lines of rail tracks converging in the distance, the graphic evokes a sense of movement to a new place, but is also suggestive of a book with a page falling free. The pointing nature of the graphic element made it amenable for use in wayfinding within the library.
