The changed the way we thought about content. We grew the blog from intermittent blurbs to an ongoing narrative of graduate success, with surprising quantity and depth.
The VFS Blog replaced much of the costly collateral that Admissions staff had traditionally relied upon to send to prospective students and their families. It became one of the most visible extensions of the VFS brand... and a chance to celebrate emerging artists and hear from some cool people.
The blog could also be rewritten and repackaged in countless ways, notably as an 8-page bimonthy print magazine called The magazine was distributed to prospective students, as well as at tradeshows and open houses and throughout the VFS campuses.
I wrote a majority of the content on the VFS Blog and in between 2007 and 2011, and then again from 2012 to early 2013.
