Leporello book made for 36 Mountains festival in Zagreb. The name of the book comes from the song ‘El Loco Juan Carabina’ by Simón Díaz, about a man who fell in love with the moon.
It was really interesting to develop the narrative from this beautiful, melancholic & crazy story about platonic love. At the same time challenging to depict the song and these feelings without the use of the lyrics - only through composition, rhythm and colour. Concertina seems as an ideal form for this and I hope I managed in my intention.
