The illustrated book that reinterprets the form of a cookbook - it gives written instructions on how to make something, except that in this book the ingredients of the recipes are discarded things, objects or phenomena that we do not normally associate with the concept of recipes and cooking. Given that it is natural and completely acceptable for children to make mud cakes, this book extends that concept to everything that is 'inedible', that is discarded, that is too much, but that still carries a strong creative impulse. By choosing specific content and ingredients, the book also touches on the topics of ecology, recycling, reuse and new purpose for the discarded and unusable. Nine recipes written in poetic fragments can be read simultaneously as performance tasks or creative suggestions for children and adults. The design continues the standard idea of a cookbook, where on the left side we can usually find a list of ingredients, and on the right side a description of the procedure, with rich collage illustrations that further interpret and refine the creation process. The book has an extremely large format, which further emphasizes the importance of the topic of recycling today, as well as the move from the digital to the analog world.
