A experimental collaboration between 3D Artist Sebastian Helene and US based Studio Spang tv exploring a conceptual thought experiment: Jellyfish + Shoe = ? The result is both surreal, playful and unexpected.
Throughout the production, there was a focus on trying to emulate the forms of jellyfish in the designs. Taking inspiration from its bulbous and translucent nature. Looking at how Jellyfish move and their skin reacts underwater was also a inspiration for the aquatic colour palette, going for cool tones and contrasting light to bring these forms out.
