Architecture Part 1 - Year 1 Contextual Design
Located on the University of Lincoln campus in a waste land with tight site parameters wrapping around a floodplain. The building is a proposal for the university's new health and well-being centre so it is essential for it to be welcoming to variety of people (see model for more context). Below shows the floor plans and adjacent to that the main elevations.
Here shows the final model in context next to the overpass, floodplain and sports pitch. The glazed façade seeps into the site creating an elegant and inviting building for the people that require help with mental illnesses.
