Pyke - Stealth game

One of my favorite League champion is Pyke. I thought it would be cool to create a Dishonored inspired Stealth game with Pyke as the main character. I took inspiration from the Hextech design visual and created the UI and mock for this game.

Loading screen
Building on the deep sea theme of Pyke, I thought it would be fitting to have the bones of a whale as part of the KV. This loading screen portrays the supernatural, underwater, Eldritch feeling to the game.
Abilities
Map concept
The design for the map was kept to a simple but clean set of icons and colors. A tint of green gradient was used to suggest the feeling of being underwater.
Skill upgrading system
One of the ideas that went into the design of this system was the organic, underwater creature element. I explored having a skill tree that looked like a nervous system to tie in with the bone motifs in the earlier screen.
Inventory Screen
The design of the inventory was kept to a clearer, easy to read interface. Seeing how it was something that needed to scale, I thought it would be unwise if it was too organic.
I thought it would be interesting to have collectables that hint at the existence of other League characters. Perhaps a treasure found by Gankplank or a card left by Twisted Fate?
Using Unreal 4, I was able to create an in-game Hud mock up to show how the game might look, for instance here, Pyke is using Ghost-water dive to try and eliminate an enemy.
Conclusion:
I really enjoyed the process of bringing different ideas together and creating a coherent visual telling through the interface.
Next steps, I might create some motion aspects to the piece to make it more interesting.
