Returning Home from the war is always easy, looking into yourfamilies eyes and telling them everything is going to be alright, isn't. Walking past the crosses that have been laid for my mother andfather, reminds me of the times when there was peace and hope in theworld we lived in. Now it just seems like we do nothing but kill eachother, relentlessly fighting one another in battle after battle untilonly one victor remains.

If that victor is me, then fine, letit come soon. But if it isn't, may God be with me until the day I dieand forgive me for putting my sword in to every person who comesbetween me and the safety of my family.

Slightlyinspired by Gladiator, it's a great movie. This was probably the mostfun I have ever had making something, I enjoyed every minute with thisproject. This started out as a Terragen render that I did last year I think,I did a few edits here and there but I let it go for about 4 months orso because I couldn't come up with anything to do with it. And I have tosay that i'm glad I did, cause it would have never turned out like this.

Thiswas my first time painting anything, and I think I did a pretty goodjob, but i'll let you all decide on that. I'm not too sure if thelighting on the tree to the left is exactly correct, but it looksalright.

Thanks for looking.
