ACT Theatre

Generations of Seattleites fondly remember the Eagles Auditorium building as an entertainment center for the city. From big bands to rock groups, this historic building was the venue for major concert events in the Northwest.
A renovation by ACT (A Contemporary Theatre) created three related but separate theatres (historic, contemporary, and cabaret), administrative offices, technical areas and public meeting spaces.
Our design moves hundreds of patrons arriving simultaneously at three entrances into the space to the individual theatres, operating simultaneously on three separate floors. Additionally, we created marquee signage for the building and an overall signage program expressing to the personality of each theater.
