Project that explores the linocut printmaking technique and uses it as an activist tool. The theme for the project was Equal Marriage in Colombia.
Two of these prints were exhibited during TRANSGRESSION “breaking the norms of gender and sexuality” at the CCSC Art Gallery and Jack Adams Hall in San Francisco.

"Dar Plomo" y "Echar Plomo" son expresiones colombianas para decir disparar, balear, y/o, tirotear.
Sacándolo del contexto local colombiano, el mensaje pordría parafrasearse como Más Igualdad, Menos Violencia.
"Dar Plomo" and "Echar Plomo" are colombian expressions to say shoot, kill with gunfire.
Therefore, taking it out from the colombian context, the message can be paraphreased as More Equality, Less Violence.
** Los colores de la bandera de Colombia son Amarillo, Azul y Rojo.
Yellow, Blue and Red are the colors of the Colombian flag.

El segundo grabado muestra a los tres opositores más fuertes del proyecto de ley que buscaba legalizar el Matrimonio Igualitario en Colombia, cuyos argumentos se basan en juicios moralistas (y a menudo ignorantes) que discriminan, excluyen, y violan los derechos de la población LGBTI.
Ellos son: El Cardenal, Rubén Salazar; el Procurador General de la Nación, Alejandro Ordóñez; y, el Senador de la República, Roberto Gerlein.
The second print shows the three main opponents of the Equal Marriage in Colombia, whose arguments are based on moralistic (and very often ingorant) judgements that discriminate, exclude and violate the rights of the LGBT population.
They are: Cardinal, Rubén Salazar; General Attorney, Alejandro Ordóñez; and, el Senator, Roberto Gerlein.
