Visuals and Strategy for Social Media Campaign

My team joined forces with the Marketing and Design department at CalAthletics to launch and boost  2013's “College Colors Contest”, and win the “College Colors Day Sprit Cup” (www.collegecolorsday.com).
The process included: identifying target audiences, developing online and offline strategies to raise awareness about the contest, facilitating social media sharing, encouraging the wear of gold and blue and, finally, promoting the vote for Cal Bears.
In creating the Cal Colors Campaign we generated content, monitored the execution of the strategy across the multiple platforms and measured results.
My main responsibilities included: developing and strategizing online tactics and creating all the graphics. CalAthletics used these graphics in their Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest accounts measuring great engagement during the contest (measured in terms of: likes, comments, shares, retweets, and community response to the messaging).
