»Notation« is a music visualization program created in Processing. It translates music into infographics trough two layers – frequency (highs, mids and lows) and pattern (detects the beat). The recognized information is represented by equally thin lines moving from left to right. Both layers are multiplied to get a complete impression of the song. Refrains, repeating patterns, similarities between different tracks and genres can be discovered.
