We were approached by a client with a request to create a character for the application. The app is launched on a large screen-table, and users stand while working with the application in a circle around the screen.
The character should interact with the child users, talking, supporting, and guiding them from start to finish.
It should be simple in shape and still cute and understandable when you look at it upside down.
In the application, the character works with the help of software animation, for the work of which we have drawn all the necessary key poses for emotions, as well as for lip sync. With this approach, the developer can code for each lesson the text that needs to be pronounced and the emotions that need to be played. And the animation is automatically composed of key poses.
We tried to create a simple, bright and attractive character for children, with an emphasis on the mouth and eyes, in order to draw attention to the content of the lesson and to the emotions of the character.
