I was one of the illustrators of this Bolivian book, the principal idea was from Alexandra Ramírez Director of Viñetas con Altura Bolivia in 2019, I made two illustrations that were part of the publication of the book and an exhibition with the name of: '' Las viñetas se dibujan en femenino'', the exhibition was the last year and in January 2020 the publication of the book came out, which contains reflections, stories and illustrations that show female empowerment, this project was carried out by 20 women from different areas between comic, illustration, vignettes . these are the pieces that I made, taking up the concepts of identity and the connection of female bodies and nature.

Participé como una de las ilustradoras en este libro boliviano ideado por Alexandra Ramírez Directora de Viñetas con Altura Bolivia en el año 2019, para realizar dos ilustraciones que formaran parte de la publicación del libro y una exposición con el nombre de: ‘’Las viñetas se dibujan en femenino’’, la exposición fue realizada el pasado año y en Enero del 2020 salió la publicación del libro, que contiene reflexiones, historias e ilustraciones que muestran el empoderamiento femenino, realizado por 20 mujeres de diferentes áreas entre comic, ilustración, viñetas. Este es el procedimiento de las piezas que realice retomando los conceptos de la identidad y la conexión de los cuerpos femeninos y la naturaleza.

About hurricanes comes from a personal experience with a phrase that one guy once told me: '' You are like a hurricane '', and I understand like a generality, all women are like hurricanes, it try to talk about the connection with our bodies and the nature, the understanding of our bodies marks the freedom of our hurricanes ... metaphorically speaking.
Sobre los huracanes proviene de una vivencia personal con una frase que me dijeron alguna vez: ‘’Eres como un huracán’’, y entenderlo como una generalidad, todas las mujeres somos como huracanes, trate de hablar sobre la conexión con nuestros cuerpos y la naturaleza, el entendimiento de nuestros cuerpos marca la libertad de nuestros huracanes…metafóricamente hablando
The queen was inspire in a migrant woman from the north of Potosí, a character so familiar that she recognizes herself, arms herself and decides to move to the direction that she decides, she knows that she is the most important piece in the game even though she seems the most fragile at the same time . Its speaks of women recognizing her cultural identity, making her own decisions, such as being a migrant, to be a stranger in another city but still decides to do it, her weapon is her decision-making power, she can make any movement because she recognizes her freedom. Obviously it is an allusion to the figure of the queen in the chess game.
La reina se inspiró en una mujer migrante del norte de Potosí, un personaje tan familiar que se reconoce a sí misma, se arma y decide moverse en la dirección que decide, sabe que es la pieza más importante del juego aunque parece la más frágil al mismo tiempo. Habla de mujeres reconociendo su identidad cultural, tomando sus propias decisiones, como ser migrante, ser forastera en otra ciudad pero aun así decide hacerlo, su arma es su poder de decisión, puede hacer cualquier movimiento porque ella reconoce su libertad. Evidentemente es una alusión a la figura de la reina en la partida de ajedrez.
