Is Eczema Tormenting You: Broth Agency

We are often asked to create the stuff of nightmares. This is no exception! Eczema transformed into demonic characters and restrictive prisons that exist only to torment.

While Eczema may seem only a minor irritation, for many it is chronic and impacts their quality of life. A new study out in the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology stated, "Moderate and severe eczema were associated with dramatically lower quality of life than all other chronic disorders examined. It limits their lifestyle, impacted activities and led to an avoidance of social interactions".

To illustrate this concept, we worked with Broth to develop a series of Monsters and Scenes, showcasing the pain and isolation that this chronic inflammatory disease can bring. Modeling monsters and prison cells, then creating a variety of different skin conditions were the first steps of the process. After projecting and mapping the CG skin textures onto the wireframes, each element was integrated into their background to underscore that each monster and each prison cell was the patient themselves.
