KITAKOBUSHI COFFEE Package Design
I was in charge of the package design of the original coffee "KITAKOBUSHI COFFEE", which was released by Kitakobushi Resort, which operates a hotel business in Shiretoko, Hokkaido, and was blended with the theme of the scenery of Shiretoko.
Produced by by Hidenori Izaki, Asia's first World Barista Champion, this luxurious coffee is illustrated by painter Hiroshi Sugito.Mr. Izaki, who knows all about the charm of specialty coffee, expresses the scene he felt when he visited Shiretoko with a blend of five types. The view of the world is also expressed in the painting by Hiroshi Sugito.
At this time of release, the greenery spreads even more vividly throughout the year in Shiretoko, and the paper, colors, and fonts used in the packaging were created with the utmost care to remind us of that scene. The gift box is printed in letterpress.
In the image photograph, the "KOBUSHI" tree, which is the origin of the name, the horn of the sika deer that can be actually picked up in Shiretoko, and the painting tools of Mr. Hiroshi Sugito were used.
