Nova Band is a unique band consisting of employees of Nova Trading S.A. from Toruń - suppliers of aluminum and steel products. The band members desire to play music together, they meet and play after work! The album "1" is intended to document this stage of the bands operation and at the same time to be a visual showcase of the company.
During meetings with representatives of the band and the client, we agreed that the visual side of the board should be designed and manufactured in a non-standard way. Bearing in mind the music, its dynamics and expression, and the friendly nature of the band's activities, we remembered that the album was also to be the company's showcase. These were the two main guidelines for the preparation of the design and concept of the entire publication. The client had a database of his own pictures of both the band's concert and steel elements to be used in the project.
For several years, in my projects, mainly in the field of hand pulled screen printing, I have been using custom - fancy papers. After reviewing selected items from the template, we decided that Bindakote Silver (Favini) paper will allow us to implement the conceptual assumptions of the project.
