Today’s organisations need to manage astronomical amounts of data. Many face this challenge by simply adding storage as the need arises – without taking the time to ensure space is being used efficiently.
Our brief was to demonstrate the waste associated with inefficient storage. To do this, we found a metaphor in a well-known game: Tetris. As the blocks fill up faster and faster, gaps are left behind that ultimately cost you the game. Instead of playing against the system, recipients were invited to take control by trialling IBM’s Virtualised Storage Solution.
