Gail Armstrong is an award-winning illustrator working in paper sculpture. Her 3D paper cut style is totally unique, yet versatile, used for illustrating people, animals, buildings, maps and diagrams, from advertising to children's books.
The papercraft images I create are made entirely from paper. I cut, bend, glue and emboss this humble medium to create three-dimensional paper sculptures. The paper forms are then photographed and either used as illustrations or box-framed for exhibition - or both!
