I am a curious creative with an open mind and a keen interest in sustainable design, materials exploration and innovation within the crafts.

Since graduating in BA Textile Design from Central St. Martins in 2012, I have actively explored new methods of making and how the meeting point between art, design and crafts can be expressed. I like to continuously question the manner that we value objects and our surroundings in order to challenge both my creative process and design development strategy. Working collaboratively with like-minded curious, creative and engaging people is something I value highly and find enjoyable, particularly as a means to triggering new ideas and developing increased knowledge on the various topics that inspire and motivate me.

My experience ranges from design development in textiles knitwear and jewellery design/making, concept development, social media strategy and photography, to live art collaborations and performance art.

Recently I have gained various diplomas in jewellery design and manufacture from Holts Academy of Jewellery. Currently I am specialising in CAD design for Jewellery using Rhino3d and Matrix CAD software for custom 3D jewellery. With these additional skills I have gained a better understanding of design innovation and new technology available for designer-makers, such as CAD manufacturing for rapid prototyping.

My work has been feature in the Norwegian fashion magazine ‘Personae’ and recently I was listed in the newly published Fashion Design Basics book: ‘A Practical Guide to Sustainable Design’ by Alison Gwilt. I am also a member of the sustainable design company and collective Haus of Artisans with the role as knitwear designer and creative product developer. www.hausofartisans.com

I am always looking for opportunities to work collaboratively with other brands or individuals within the areas of concept and design development, creative communication, and research on innovation and sustainable design methods. Read Less
