Port Metro Vancouver | ONLINE/PRINT ANNUAL REPORT
I have designed and produced a number of print annuals for Port Metro Vancouver (formerly The Port of Vancouver and The Vancouver Fraser Port Authority) over the years. For the 2010 reporting year I designed a report strictly for online and basically "print-on-demand". The client wanted to have a completely electronic report, but the capability for readers to easily print all or part of the report.
The solution was a printable pdf report built to a standard letter size and designed with a linked table of contents for navigation, page to page navigation and live links throughout to external support material.

YVR Art Foundation | WEBSITE DESIGN
The YVR Art Foundation required a new design to reflect it's new focus on encouraging, supporting and profiling First Nations art in all form, both traditional and progressive. I designed an interface that incorporated a nod to the foundation's roots with an image of Bill Reid's famous Jade Canoe, and a colour palette based on traditional black and red, as well as blue for sky and ocean, "cedar" and green to represent nature.
The site was designed to allow the client to update information from news to galleries to current events and information on programs and scholarships.

Concept and design of interface (in Illustrator) for local fashion store. The site was designed to engage clients to interact by reviewing the seasonal lookbook, or keeping up with store offerings and fashion tips in their blog. Simple navigation to additional pages provided all the depth of a full site, while showcasing the blog on the landing page so that content was seen to be fresh every time a client returned.
