L'exposition "Voyage en Orient" regroupe au sein d'un dispositif de présentation spécifique, 24 images prises
en 2010 au cours d'un voyage itinérant de 3 mois ralliant Istanbul en Turquie à Kashgar en Chine.
Durant cette pérégrination, des émotions diverses se sont faites ressentir, toujours agréables et souvent artistiques. Afin de pouvoir les faire revivre, les instants saisis ont été mis en rapport avec des écrits, pour la plupart datés de la fin du 19e siècle, tous fortement marqués par leur caractère orientaliste. Ces collages narratifs sont animés par un regard intime porté sur la suavité et l'âcreté des sentiments d'Orient.
The exhibition "Voyage en Orient" includes, in a particular installation, 24 pictures taken in 2010, during a three months itinerant trip from Istanbul in Turkey to Kashgar in China. During this travel, mixed emotions were felt, always pleasant and often artistic. To revive and share them, the captured moments were illustrated with writtentext from the late 19th century, and all strongly marked by their Orientalist influence. These narrative collages are animated by an intimate look, focused on the sweetness and pungency of the feelings of the East.
