I was commissioned to work in freelance capacity by Square Circle Triangle to design and develop a bespoke portfolio for Australian photographer Ted Grambeau. The brief was to develop a solution that would allow users to easily view Ted’s impressive portfolio on a variety of devices and allow him to easily add, delete and update galleries, so he could tailor his portfolio to target specific opportunities.
The final website is minimal in nature, so as not to distract from Ted’s work and utilises an innovative approach to navigation, which allows users to swipe or click through the entire site. This functionality was implemented by using the HTML5 History API and AJAX to provide a fluid user experience.
Additional enhancements included the addition of a ‘slideshow’ button that would cycle through Ted’s entire portfolio at timed intervals.
