Next Wave commissioned me to develop the website for their 2014 festival, which would allow visitors to explore the programme guide, find venue information, receive the latest updates, save events for later and to purchase tickets from their smartphone or desktop computer. I worked closely with UI designer Thomas Green and design studio Gatsby, to develop a broad collection of content modules and templates to meet Next Wave’s extensive marketing requirements. WordPress was employed to manage the vast array of digital content Next Wave created for the 2014 festival and thanks to the creation of a custom API, even helped Next Wave manage their native mobile apps as well.
